Last time I shipped I got heat packs from Canadian Tire.

Check the outdoors or hunting section. They'll be things like glove warmers, boot warmers, back warmers.

Hopefully they're not put away for the season ... good luck!!

I thought you could get them from J&L or maybe ask Wendell.

You can get heatwraps (for sore muscles) from the drugstore they are supposed to last 8 hrs. They do get pretty warm

I got them from Mark’s work Warehouse or what ever it’s called when I shipped some corals up to Ruth. They were the glove and boot warmers, they had all different sizes and they last 12 hours if I remember correctly.

London Drugs, too!

I'd be concerned with this weather that they'd be too hot - unless you tape them inside and away from the frags... I see a new thread coming

If I recall correctly (it's been 2 years) the heat packs are sticky on one side and I stuck them to the lid of the Styrofoam container so they didn't contact the bags directly and possibly over heat them.

I searched LD yesterday with no luck. I did buy a heat pack but I don't think it will be very effective. Heat only lasted about 2 hours.

Thanks

Jason - I'm going to probably pick a few up from them this week, want me to grab you some? We're not SUPER close, but I'm at 88th and KG, might be easier for you to get to, and I'll probably go today or tomorrow.

christyf5 05-07-2007 07:03 PM

Wendell will probably give you some. Give him a call

So as I stood in Crappytire looking for heat packs. I called Wendell. And of course he was more than willing to sell me some. So for anyone else looking don't bother with CT as OA has then
