Duncans Are In! --Updated with PICS!--
I've just unpacked and acclimitized our shipment of Duncanopsammia. Here's some pictures and additional info:
http://www.thereeftank.com/photopost...cat=all&page=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-AUSTRALIAN-...QQcmdZViewItem http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...readid=1098400 http://www.roesmarineworld.com/triple_rare_corals.php Some basic info: They're from Australia, require low-med light with moderate current. Supplemental feedings two/three times a week with a variety of seafoods are recommended. Excellent water quality is always a plus. Like sun polyps and Dendrophyllia, they're succeptible to hair algae if any parts of the skeleton become exposed, so take care to keep them well fed and happy. Anyway, three color varieties are available. I'll be parting them out by the polyp, so if anyone's interested, feel free to shoot me a PM for pricing. |

wow... must be real slow growing, I'm assuming?
|
I've read otherwise, but we'll see!
Quick update on the frags though. I just gave them their first post-frag feeding today and they took in the krill like champs! |
I bought a colony from the same person and they frag excellent.the polyps have opened for most people within 10-15min of being in there tank and I've been fragging the same day usaually with a hour or 2 of being picked up.These are excellent feeders as well they'll take anything.hopefully they do as good as people say and some people out there grow a few extras for trade. Some of the colonies that were going to golds and other places were sweet colors.Just curious Albert if the last pic you posted is the yellow 1.Clint

Yup, yellow!

Picked up mine today and they look pretty nice. One still had a shrimp piece sticking out, good feeding Albert...
