so who's spending/spent their tax refund on their tank?

me! me! lol

when I get it next week, anyways. So do I get a calcium reactor, or a dual channel litermeter III for calcium/alkalinity? any input? I'm planning on getting more SPS, now that I just love how my new branching montipora looks :)

Quagmire 03-27-2007 02:59 AM

Myself,I'd go for the litermeter.I think you can run 3 pumps if Im not mistaken,2 would be good for dosing and 1 for top off.Unless you find dosing a 120g expencive

kwirky 03-27-2007 03:49 AM

yeah that's the dillema. Some people, in that sps checklist thread, said they go through 250ml of two part every day...

but the litermeter's just SO simple! :)

GrimReefer 03-27-2007 03:53 AM

spent. already done. paid for my tunze top-off. and that's all, unfortunately... :(

Quagmire 03-27-2007 04:23 AM

OK so how about, get the litermeter with the refund, and the reactor with the cash you save from not paying bills this month

All ready spent it. Sure hope I get one this year.

bulletsworld 03-27-2007 04:55 PM

I admit, a good portion went towards my tanks.

Horary for tax refunds!

This year I made even less than about the previous 5 years but changes in taxes left me owing money this year, and yes sadly it came out of the tanks future.

Well lets see where mine is going....

new tires for my truck $1300 which I got yesterday
lift kit and wheel bearings for quad $200 which I pick up today
skid plates for quad $700
boxliner for truck $500
something nice for the wife $250

and I "might" have enough left over for a frag
which reminds me the wife did our taxes but never e-filed them guess she better get her butt in gear
.....now how to spend the wife tax return?

saltaddict 04-12-2007 02:36 AM

120g adventure and basement upgrades (so the tank won't be the only nice thing to look at) and it's spent.
