Hard time accessing Canreef
 

Is anyone else having problems getting online to canreef later in the evenings? Around 8 or 9pm?

There WAS a problem but I thought Titus had fixed it.

If you're STILL having problems, please describe what sort of problems. As in the board is not there? And is it always around 8pm?

For me I can't access the board, usually between 7-10, but most often around 8 or 9pm. Usually the server times out, or it tells me the server is too busy. I also sometime get the server is not responded response.

Same here, Server not available or my browser just times out before I get a conection, I use Mozilla Firefox.

Whew it thought is was just me cause no one was questioning it :mrgreen:

same thing mine just seems to time out, and I also use Firefox. It's frustrating when you can't get your "Canreef fix"!!!! :redface:

There's been an ongoing issue with the board software where it shuts itself off occasionally. As soon as I notice it go down I restart it but sometimes it doesn't get noticed for a while. If you notice the board go down you can email me at entacmea@hotmail.com and I'll try to get it back up as soon as possible. Titus had opened a support ticket with the vbulletin people but to be honest I thought they had fixed it because I hadn't had to restart it in over a week now.

Anyhow I apologize for the inconvenience, I'll see what I can do here.

I should have said something sooner, its being going on for probably just under 3 weeks for me, maybe longer. I just thought it was me.

Okay. This is strange as I haven't noticed any downtime either. I want to correlate your in-accessibility with the server log (to see what it is saying), would you mind writing down the following the next time you are having trouble with the site:
1) time in your timezone you are unable to access the site
2) which timezone you are in
2) is it just slow or completely dead
3) date

I can for sure give you Tuesday(6) and Wednesday(7), between 7-10 Mountain time. Its completely dead, and preceding that its often extremely slow.

Having the same problem.. my browser just times out when I try to access Canreef. Happens in the evenings as well for the most part.

me too loads fast sometimes and then other times nothing same time frame for me.

Um... the server logs for those time period indicates that it is still serving pages. As a matter of fact, it reported someone requesting a page that doesn't exist (ie someone pointing to the old phpBB2 site). I'll continue to keep an eye on the server.

Last night it happened to me. 9:47pm MDT completely dead. Browser just timed out, tried again..... Timed out again.

Yes we have noticed at least two outages yesterday. We are continuously monitoring.

9:12 pm tonight. Site was gone. :)

8am MST this morning I kept getting the response that the server was not responding.

Couldn't access the site last night from 10pm MST through to at least 12am.

I was having the same problem I got on around 11ish and they was only 3 people on

I've still been having trouble about 25% of the time. If I try a little while after, everything is fine.

Damn intraweb gremlins.
