Nope. I don't get those very often. Pretty poor shippers, hard to start feeding.

Halichoeres melanurus (Bleeker 1851), the Tail-spot Wrasse. West central Pacific. To five inches. An occasional import out of Fiji. Initial phase in Fiji, terminal off Heron Island, Australia's GBR. these things have a billion different names from what i have seen |
should of called it the madarin wrasse......its what it reminds me of
|
don’t suppose you have a variety of wholesalers you can check into on the availability of these guys? they seem to be pretty easy to find south of the border and are very popular among reefers

I was not sure which fish you were talking about? I have a Halichoeres chloropterus ,he is almost 4" very aggresive ate more than 10 different kind of shrimps ,100 snails & a few smaller gobies I have also kept Halichoeres ornatissimus ,same case senario. Also what I found with wrasses if you like them to maintain their colors & behaviour they will need to be with a couple of females. Albert is right not a common fish here ,however they do show up from time to time. I will keep my eyes open for you. what size is your tank? what inhabitants? Jason |
check these links- got some good pics here. Unfortunately all these places dont ship outside of the states. It will be going in a 96 gal reef with a couple oc clowns, yellow tang, regal tang and royal gramma
