Sorry, I don't have any to share, though. |
Wow... how long did that take?? Those are incredible.
I'll post a pic of ours tonight.. just a basic carving though.. nothing like this. |
To be honest it took my no time. My Wife how ever took all night.

We did some up last night too. I'll have to snap a pic or two.
Man what a flippin' mess.. pumpkin seeds and guts all over the place. hehe.. Good thing we only do this once a year.. |
I'm carving our last two tomorrow, then I'll post. Jason, those are super cool!

Dremel used to sell a pumpkin carving tool which you could get at Home Depot or Rona this time of year. Don't know if they still do. They're an incredibly keen little miniature version of the Dremel tool. How cool is that? :)
|
Really? I never would have thought a rotating tool would be very efficient.
|
I think she used just a very small toothed blade. I know she asked fro the dremel but never heard it ;)

Wow there are some awesome pumpkins here..
|
Here's the four I carved, just winged it. The small ones are white pumkins, pretty neat in daylight.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...October043.jpg And I learned a new trick this year; Instead of cutting the top out of the pumkin, cut the bottom out, with a notch for proper replacement. That way your "lid" is actually the base, you put the candle on it, then lower the jack-o-lantern onto the base using the notch to match them up. Much cleaner look, and easy candle lighting. You probably all do that already, I'm kinda slow on the uptake. |
A little late but I had to add my buddies pumpkins.
