I believe lion fish are reef safe, but not small fish safe :twised:

Go
Not to be a poopy pants but why would you want to see your fish harmed for doing what comes naturally? It's not the damsels fault you put other inhabitants in its perceived territory.
Adding another aggressive fish won't "teach it a lesson" and will only result in injury or death to one or both of them. You can't "unlearn" instincts. ________ Yamaha DT100 |
I had a blue devil damsel once and he began to bite me when I put my hands in the tank to clean. after a year of taking beatings from the fish I placed it in my leopard eel tank. The blue devil damsel beat on the small eel for about six months, smacking the eel in the face with his tail. It all ended one day when I turned on the lights to the tank and found just the head of my blue devil damsel  That was a whoops.
It sounds like its time to give your aggressive damsel a new home. To someone with a larger tank perhaps. Good luck |
you know what would beat it good?? the toilet fish flush the sob if its going to keep eating your stuff or for all you kind hearted people bring it to the fish store
|
Kind hearted people! You mean humans that own a brain.

Come on folks, this is Canada. I am sure there is something in this poor fishes past life that is causing him/her to act this way. How was his childhood, did is father beat him or his mom?
Maybe we should just sent the fish to live in the US for three years. Oh wait that is just of molesters!! Oh and they are sent from the US to Canada. Will |
lol good one will
|
thats great rolflmao

Do you have a sump? If so, try putting him in there for a month or so, then re-introduce him. Then he'll be the new kid on the block again. It might make him less agressive as it won't be his turf. Just a thought...
|
have a sump but not plumped it to the system. so only option is to find a new home
|
did you get him from muck by any chance....*cough cough*

It took me an hour and a half from start to finish, catching fish in my 175g tank. I never had to move a single rock and the corals never even noticed anything wrong  |
ok ill give that a try
