Whats your favourite fish name
 

I name all my fish, and I just was wondering if i was the only one who does? And would love to hear some of peoples favourite names, and pics if they want..always want to see more pics..

My daughters name all my fish :mrgreen: . My favourite was a lawnmower blennie named winston churchhill. I now have an achilles tang named brad pitt and a regal angel named angelina jolie :rolleyes:

Ive had a clown goby named bob,one named pouty,a mantis shrimp named jimmy conway,and a few more i have acually forgotten.An ex GF used to name all mine.

Maybe interesting, just not very original. My clam's name is fat tony, my starfish's name is peach, my yellow tangs name is bubbles... :lol:

I have a cheveron Tang we call "The Tang"
a Bi coloured Blenny we call "The Blenny"
and three Chromis We call them " The Chromis"

Here are the names of mine,
My Cleaner shrimp is sebaestan(from little mermaid)
My chromis are named tonic, tequila and sunrise
My Single spotted gobie is called jipedo
My Clowns are Squirt and Franklin
My Koran Angel is calypso
And I need a name for a yellow tang any ideas? And A fire Shrimp?

My 3 chromis were named larry, moe and curly but now that i'm down to 2 I don't know if that is still their names :razz:

I still think the best name I heard was Deb's name for her Naso tang - IIRC it was Nas hole. I'm not nearly that original

Yellow tang - SOB - no explaination needed
Goldflake angel - MR. Attitude
Conspic angel - Picky
Moorish Idol - Elvis

None of my other fish really have names.

My husband calls all of our fish Bob. But he spells boHb differently for every fish :rolleyes: Heck, he's named our all of our finches Bawb, too :razz:

Well just pick up 2 new ones and call then Curly Joe & Shep :lol:

My cow fish who is my favorit is name is Doodle

My old cow fish i had a couple years ago was name was bubba

My nephew calls my yellow tang "lellow" (acompanied by much glee and hand clapping each time it swims into view). The only other fish that I have a name for in my tomato clown. She is refered to as "grumpy" or sometimes "Old B****y".

My wife (mostly) named our critters.

Clowns - Brooke and Antoine
Firefish - Lenny
Emerald crab - Oscar
Sexy shrimp - Waldo ('cause he was hard to find - so small)
YWG - Muddy (mudskipper) - until we think of something better

Regal tang: Pootie Tang
Scopas tang: Tootie Tang (the species basically looks like what a fart probably looks like....)
Yellow tang: Zootie Tang (Zooty zoot zoot? ...anyone?)
Clowns: Duck and Weave
Bicolor Blenny: Benny
YWG: Cliff (Norm, his pistol buddy, has been MIA for months now)
Mandarins: Skippy and Trixy (Skippy has also been MIA :( )
Peacock mantis: Manticore

I've held off at naming my cleaner shrimps, as it's usually just an expletive when they're bothering all the corals while I'm trying to feed them.

Purple Tang = Herbert
Yellow Tang = Abraham (from previous owner)
Powder Blue = Mean ole' Bastard
Coral Beauty = Priscilla
Mandarin = Hummer
Convict Blennie = Digger
