Edmonton forum website please?

What is the website for the edmonton reef forum? I can't for the life of me remember it, I think I am losing my mind.

muck 07-18-2006 06:27 PM

http://www.edmontonreefers.ca/forum/index.php

but its still down..

TheReefGeek 07-18-2006 06:38 PM

Well at least I wasn't losing my mind then! I thought I might have had the address wrong.

Thanks Muck.

Beermaster 07-27-2006 01:01 PM

Yes the forum is still down

I will Bering you guys up to speed on my life lol

On or about June 21 - my place flooded for a water line from the hot water tank - the insuranse company has kicked us out for a month to do the repairs to the bathroom and my sons room - it has now been 4 weeks and they still havent really done any work

So with that being said - i have no access to high speen inet where we are staying so i only get to work on the site a little here and there

I am working on it but when the back up happened for some reson the SQL database got corrupted and i am trying to rebuild - i will have the site live buy the weekend with hopefully all the old posts or i am rebuilding it

sorry for all the issues

Mark

muck 07-27-2006 02:22 PM

Sorry to hear about the flood Mark. Hopefully everything is cleaned up real soon. On the brightside...at least now any little spillage from your tank will seem minor..

TheReefGeek 07-27-2006 04:38 PM

No high speed internet where you are staying? That should be illegal, don't they know people die if they don't get their web-crack?!

Sorry to hear about your basement dude.

A New Home For the Edmonton Salt Community!

Hello All,

My company has donated server space and all the good stuff to provide a local home for the Edmonton Reefing Club as well as anyone else who'd like a local forum for our hobby.

It's not visually appealing just yet, but it's blazingly fast and open for posting:

http://www.edmontonsaltwater.com

Feel free to check it out and send me your thoughts on what we can put in it to make it rock!

mwarf

Beermaster 08-17-2006 06:25 PM

Just so you all know, edmonton reefers will be back up next week, as we are finnaly moving back home this weekend YAY

mwarf 08-17-2006 08:25 PM

I'm happy to help out

If you guys need a more stable server, I'm happy to help out and keep edmontonreefers going rather than have edmontonsaltwater compete with it.

Let me know if that's a good idea.

Thanks,
M.

michika 08-30-2006 04:23 PM

Yay I am so excited for Edmontonreefers to be back up and running!

Joe Reefer 08-30-2006 04:58 PM

Ummm, its still not working for me.

fishguyxd 08-30-2006 09:53 PM

same here nothing

j-roc 09-04-2006 11:43 PM

Still nothing, But i see www.EdmontonReefers.ca is UNregistered!

Mark did you need someone to set it all back up or something?

mwarf 09-06-2006 04:53 PM

My company has offered server space and forum setup for him (no charge), no response yet.

M.

eddie holland 09-06-2006 08:40 PM

edmonton

i have not herd from mark in a while. i will try and get a hold of him this week end

Beermaster 09-06-2006 10:33 PM

Oaky everyone, sorry for the delays, this now my top priority to get the site back up

I have had some issues with the DNS resolving but it was a dumbass error that i did, and should be worked out shortly!

I will keep you posted this week

Mark

mwarf 09-08-2006 12:46 AM

So, I'll consider my offers to host, provide support and anything else - not appreciated. Sometimes good intentions (and the ability to deliver) are dangerous things. Best of luck with the site.

M.

Medicdude 09-08-2006 08:23 PM

If you are still having problems then I would consider taking him up on the offer. Michaels company designed and hosts my company website abd the customer service has been spectacular. Any issues I have had or changes I have needed that I was not able to complete myself were done promptly and at no charge (unless I haven't received the bill yet in which case forget about this response)

mwarf 09-08-2006 09:02 PM

lol! Thanks for the kind input MedicDude. I think we should all just hold tight and see what BeerMaster puts back online...

Beermaster 09-20-2006 02:31 PM

Okay here is the Site up at a temp address - i am still working out some kinks with the domain of edmontonreefers.ca but this will work - i will have all the pictures back up ASAP

Edmonton Reefers

mwarf 09-20-2006 03:48 PM

Hey Mark,

Do you want our edmontonsaltwater.com domain? I'm beginning to think you are ignoring me :-)

Beermaster 09-20-2006 04:23 PM

mwarf, no i not ignoring you, i just have had a lot of personl issues happening in my life, and with the domain issues that i am having is ****ing me right off - the real issue with edmontonreefers.ca domain is that i forgot the username and password to the domain and the email that it was setup under must have a typo in it, so they are just being a pain in the ass with changeing it all

thats all

I can move everything over to edmontonsaltwater.com, that will work and when i get the domain back up, i will just forward it to edmontonsaltwater.com as well, does that work?

mwarf 09-20-2006 04:58 PM

Yeah. that would work great. The intent of edmontonsaltwater.com is to help out anything local. Do you need hosting or just the domain?

mwarf 09-21-2006 04:54 PM

Glad to help, I'm looking forward to meeting some other local Edmonton Reefers - so far I've only met Lando in person, and that was a great experience.

michika 09-21-2006 05:07 PM
