Just got my Live Rock

Just got 4 boxes of Jakarta Rock from OA. All I have to Say is WOW. This stuff is great. Very clean, Smelled good (well as good as LR can smell). Pretty great stuff.

It's been a while since I have ordered LR but I had thought LR had gone down hill. Not this stuff. A ton of Coraline of many different colours. Great life on the rock. Already found 3 crabs but that is expected.

If your looking this stuff is for sure Grade A

Oh the pressure. Here are some really bad pics of the rock. But it's all I can do right now.

as for price and shipping details you should really talk to Wendell. I'm just a happy customer.

BTW check out my 370G tank progress at My 370G

I bought about 300+lbs. of Jakarta from Wendell close to a year ago now for my 190g and it was the same - or close to it - as yours. My only gripe is that it had tons of evil crabs........grrrr. Definately no fault of OA but I bet I have trapped close to 40 crabs in this tank and there are still a few that have outsmarted me.......no additional comments required please.

Jason McK 06-03-2006 05:33 AM

your gonna open yourself up like that and not let us take a shot. :)

I can't believe how clean it arrived. I've only ever had Fuji stuff before that was covered in macro.

Anyway. I have 300lbs. curing in my tank now and I get to take off to Toronto for 2 weeks while it gets really smelly. I didn't plan that really

You know I did not have the luxury of leaving while it was curing and it never did get really stinky. The Fiji and Tonga that I cured in my 230g now that was a different story - yuck - but that didn't come from OA either.

Hey Jason
Nice frig'n work man! Your new system is looking very sweet
So are you selling tickets for the opening night? I have a few goodies that I could bring over

spikehs 06-03-2006 09:27 PM

well, just got my 75-80 of lr from the airport. Great selection of pieces a couple of really large ones, some flater pices etc. Pretty good coraline coverage too. This stuff must be porus cause 75 pounds looks like its going to fill up my tank a lot (its a 90gal almost cube)... Still really cloudy right now so I can take pics ones its aquascaped...

two way drawer slide

Jason
Great job, well planned and very impressive.
Where did you get the two-way drawer slide? I'm looking to do something similar to that. How far does it allow the drawer to slide each way?
