wow
wow that look sweet. need more pics. i,ll have my towels ready to clean my chin!
|
Wow Marc, the tank looks fantastic! I love the "depth" of your tank, it gives it such a greater dimension. Is that the side view?
|
Thanks Ed and Christy,
Yeah, its an end view. I havent been able to take any face pics that ive been content with yet, mostly because i recenty installed 2wave boxes, and still trying to figure out the rockwork to atleast cover them a bit...they are pretty honkin units. But they are nothing short of impressive at what they do for the tank. Marc. |
Awesome tank! Keep the pics coming.
|
Marc, what pump are you using to drive that monster of a skimmer?

Great pics  Love the aquascaping
That tank looks huge  How big is it? |
Marc, a top down of the rock scape would look cool, if you have enough room over top

Wow Marc!
Excellent aquascaping, looks like one could take a few laps in that reef  Now, only if I could see it in person with a few pop's in hand   |
Thanks all,
Mr alberta, The pump is a Sequence 1100 series Seq 23. Beverly, The tank is 525 g and the sump is 370 g . Total overall dimensions are 100"x48"x31" viewable depth is 40" due to an external overflow. wich i didnt include in the gallonage, but could hold another 40 gallons i believe itself. Willow, not a hemi, but it is runnin Headers... http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...kimmer_001.jpg :D Steve, there is really no comparison to the old way....i was trying to drive way too much water through it, though it produced, it just made for an unstable foam. I originally thought the diffuser plate would help, but it didnt cut it really. The biggest change now,is its stability, Now it makes shaving cream. Brad, heres one, it doesnt capture the full tank, but it shows a good chunk. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...caping_530.jpg Ill try to get a better one on the weekend. Here was a neat one i took while feeding. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...caping_470.jpg Kinda cool, i can actually close my hand and they will try to get right inside it. Thanks all. Marc. |
wow that last shot is amazing! nice one
|
Hi Marc. That's really impressive. That first pic in the first post reminds me of how it looked as I snorkelled in Hawaii.

Hey Marc, Man your getting good with the camera skills too. Looken sharp bud. I gotta say everytime I stop by and see this system it looks better and better. Man I just wish I had you over the day I did aquascaping or should I say aquapiling compared to yours. :)
|
That is a sweet set up. I love the aquascaped canyon look. Very realistic looking. I wish I had the room to do that in my skinny little tank.
