FS: Neon green Fingers (Sinularia sp.) and Candy Canes

Hi everyone,

I got green Sinularias available at $20 for medium and $25 for large.
Lots to choose from. All attached to a live rocks .
Also mini size available for nano people at $15 a pop.

I also have Candy cane coral. Some larger heads and also smaller frags.
I'm thinking here a $1.50 a head (10 and less) and $1.00 a head for over 10.
I'll frag these to whatever size required  .

what kind of lighting ect do the candy canes need?(would a 2.5 with a 20watt PC be ok?)

thanks!

Raf 02-21-2006 04:11 AM

Wow I'm interested but might not be able to make it out to Abby for a while... eek!

scub steve 02-21-2006 04:49 AM

hey he said he might ship if we can get enuf together so if anybody in edmonton wants to order some pm him

Denis 02-21-2006 05:04 AM

I found that this coral does best in lower light to retain the dark brown and green contrast. Your lights will do just fine.

Denis,

Feel free to use my tank to hold any corals for Diana or Lynn. I will be seeing one if not both of them in the near future & am heading out to North Van later this week too. I'm home on Thursday & Friday & I'll pm you my contact info & address. We'll see if we can work something out so everybody gets their frags & you can get your $$.

Anthony

SeaHorse_Fanatic 02-22-2006 07:32 AM

Whoa. I live right close to Willingdon & Canada Way (<10 min) but I just saw the "before 8am" time. Ouch. If need be, I guess I can wake up early & get the corals for my friends, since I'm sure I live waaaay closer than they do.

Anthony

PM on the way.

Tangman 02-22-2006 12:46 PM

sinularia sp & candy

You " out of towners" will NOT be dissapointed the sinularia sp & candy canes are fabulous. And Denis has a fantastic set up !!! Beautiful main display and very honest person to deal with too...
I would vote for his tank to be "Tank of the month" any time!!!

howdy20012002 02-23-2006 03:13 AM

re stuff

i will take 20 heads of the candy cane
and a medium head of the other

Thanks Tangman, you're too kind.
I wish we didn't had to cut it short, but my 8mo old twins don't understand yet the importance of preserving reefs through sharing with friends hobbyists.

Denis 02-23-2006 05:15 AM

Edmonton Order

To everybody on this Edmonton order.
I'm slowly working on it. All the corals have been put aside for you right from the begining so it's the best stock.
I'm now going to source the packing material and get estimate from the WestJet.
I would like to switch to emails (keep hitting 100 PMs).
Please all involved send me an email to denis_me@telus.net
I'm trying for a second week in March for the actual shipping.
Please have patience.
Thanks

edgv 02-23-2006 06:31 PM

I picked up a few frags last night and am very pleased. Denis is a great guy and agree with Tangman that he could easily be selected for tank of the month. Thanks Denis.

afreshoutlook 02-23-2006 08:19 PM

awesome

Denis,
Nice meeting you this morning.
My candy cane looks awesome & the Moorish Idol has also taken a liking to it, hopefully not for long.
All other bags that I picked up are slowly leaving my possesion.
Thanks again

Dwight

Diana 02-23-2006 09:31 PM

Thanks Dennis the corals look great! We'll have to take a trip out to Abby one day to see your tanks :D

And thanks again Dwight for picking them up for me! ;)

You're welcome Lynn,
There is still some fingers left and I have to admit that the picture doesn't do it a justice. The green is just like in those green hi-liter pens.
