Any before and after pictures?

sumpfinfishe 02-11-2006 07:17 AM

OK here's the before & after that you wanted Rory

Oh I forgot to mention that- even tho I have seen Loc-Line lot's, until you get to sit down and play with it, I had no idea how much it took me back to playing with Lego.
Guess that's why it took me 2hrs to snap together two 8" returns LOL

Looks really good there Lots of colors more now the LPS will love ya ...

TheReefGeek 02-13-2006 03:11 AM

Looks a lot whiter though, could just be the additional brightness too.

andestang 02-13-2006 03:57 AM

Looks good  How do you like your Squid WD ? Thought about trying one, but have never seen one at work.

Yeah it's a lot more intense now for sure! The colors on the LPS always look better under the actinic-maybe that's why it took me so long to upgrade

I luv the SCWD, it's no hi tec device just a gear and a slotted wheel but for $50 it oscillates my returns about every 15sec which means more even flow throughout the tank. I would say for tanks under 50gls it's a great add-on. For larger tanks tho it just can't handle the pressure(1400gph max) and there's bigger better toys for larger tanks like wave boxes, tunze's, and sea swirls:biggrin:

That or, I know someone who has this gorgeous large lime green acro that would provide a palm tree shade effect for all the fishes
