J&L Boxing day sale?
 

Is J&L having a boxing day sale this year? I haven't heard or seen much.

Hmmm......... I was using Firefox and the page did not have any specials...... booted up the IE and the specials were there.

I had to refresh the FF browser to get the correct page to come up.

kinda strange, a few prices are higher than I remember them to be...just for today ;)

I agree their prices are higher then before. I was looking at a Remora Pro and it was regular price of $275 before the sale, and now the suggested regular price is $289.95. Doesnt make much sence?

Boxing Day seemed quiet this year. Haven't heard anything for other stores like Hidden Reef or Ocean Aquatics.

I picked up a few things from JL's on Boxing day and niticed the same price increase and then discount off that.. But this has been going on for years and years not just at JL's... The way I see it as longas the end result is cheaper then I'm ok with it.

Hidden reef had 50% off corals, fish and inverts on boxing day and then 25% off media and such. Picked up a few acros they had there for REALLY cheap.

BA has a Boxing Week sale that lasts all week. Does anyone else have this? I missed out on Boxing Day because I was out of town. I wouldn't mind driving out all the way to Hidden Reef if they still have stuff on sale.

Not sure if hidden reef still has a sale on there stuff give em a call to make sure before you make the drive out.

Raising prices and then putting them on sale should be illegal. I know Sears used to do this all the time.. raise prices and then have a MASSIVE sale and in the end you paid the regular price.

I bought some stuff from JL I will see wha the prices are after the Boxing weekspecials. We could all be seeing things :)


Well I know one thing the Refractormeter I got from JL was on for $55 and now its $64.95 I re-did my order and saved about $30 in total on my VHO ballast, 2 bulbs and the refractormeter
