Post your nano pics!!
Hey guys, I was just surfing through the last "nano pics" thread. I wanna see some updates (plus the nano bug has me in its clutches again )
Just took these today: The 10 Gallon reef and the 3 Gallon reef/mantis

Everytime I see Aguarium Girls tanks I think to myself....'ooooh I have 2 empty 10 gallons and a 2.5 gallon downstairs...plus of course tons of heaters, lighting setups (that would do for shrooms and low light corals) Maybe I should just set up a Nano....then my son calls.....and interupts my daydream. Nice tanks Andrea!

Hard to get all of the creatures out at the same time in 1 shot.

I'm not sure how to make it bigger.

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d8...m/DSC00751.jpg Here how you do it Fred, 1. Find the large pic you uploaded and right click on it. 2. From the menu, choose “Properties”. 3. Use your cursor to highlight the Address(URL). 4. Copy the url and paste it into your post. 5. Highlight the url in your post and click on the IMG tag button. 6. Click on Preview Post to see if you did it right. The reason why your pic was small was because you copied the url from the small pic instead of the large one. Simple fix.. ;) |
thanks. appreciate your help.

We have to define "Nano" I only have one tank left, and it is 24"X18"X18". That works out to 33 gallons. Could we maybe call it a super Nano?
Nobody has said that I can't call my tank a nano, so I am going to try posting a picture.

Actually I think a nano is 20gal or less but tank pics are always welcome
I would tend to agree, but I feel my tank fits the nano category better, as I don't have a sump or other fancy stuff.
Ya always find a way to fit that in there don'tcha Bob
Sure, but in this case I feel it applies. Since nano has never really been defined. I may have to go to nanoreef.com to see what they say. BTW the new board has put slashes where there were none before. You now have one in your signature line.
Nano reef says that it is 33 gal or less. I think that is almost personal choise.

Not if we decide our own limitations here in the nano forum :p
Back in the old nano-reef.com days it was 20 gal and under is a nano and 2.5 and under was a pico.20 gal and up was considered a (mini) reef, but things changed over the years.

I have alway's considered my tank a Nano, and I have a 28 gallon bowfront.
I was a believer in the 24 inch limit, but apparently the latest craze in Nanos is the 20 long, which I belive is a 30 or 33 inch length. I would post a pic, but I was member #2004 so I don't have acess to the photo album thingy :( |
Just host the pic on nano-reef or something?
OK Here are some pics of my 28 gallon bowfront
