Are there any group orders being done from Ocean aquatic or J+L this month ?

Are you looking for livestock or dry goods?

I think I'd be interested in some stuff if there's one going on. A box of LR, a cleanup crew... The LR from OA was very nice in the last order.

I would most likely be in for some more Phyto-Feast and a few corals.

I had an note but will confirm from James at ocean aquatics that he has a shipment or (better selection) in later Sept. I will email him again. or where does everyone what to order from? personally I have had great service thru ocean.

Ocean Aquatics is my preference. Besides, I do not know of another Phyto-Feast supplier in Canada.

If you guys want to shop locally for livestock, there is the new place "Coral Hunter." I'm sure they could order almost anything you are looking for. Went over today to scope it out. Pretty nice setup and very friendly help.

For corals I reccomend Coral Hunter but can they order dry goods? I will have to give them a call.

I recieved an email from Ocean aquatics they recieved some new livestock fish 2 days ago , more corals are coming on Tue. and fish later in the week and then LR later in the month, as for clean up crew they said they have ,depends what all are looking for. So I guess it depends what each person wants to do now. I guess email ocean aquatics see if they have what you looking for and if they do then I will probably order some stuff with others. if the group order goes to J+L then I will watch for postings.

I am not familar with the coral hunter nor there prices and selection
I have heard the name but do not know of anyone that has purchased yet.

Hello Guys,
I have new Coral on the 20th, I currently have some Hawaiian fish.
Next week will be Bali fish as well. New Live Rock is on the 28th of September.
We have new Phyto Feast in now just arrived this Friday as well as Vivid Reef Rotifers.
Lots of new stuff in the next 2 weeks.
If people could email me with their requests so I can make sure the items are all in stock for the order.

OA Livestock order
 

I talked to James on the weekend at OA and he's holding a Flame Angel and possibly two Scooter Blennies for me. I would like to combine that with our livestock order. Hopefully we can get it up here soon.

So yes, add me to the OA livestock order as well please. :biggrin:

I'd like to coordinate it with the incoming LR order so it can just trans-ship. Was the 28th the date mentioned?

Hey Matt and others interested in the Live Rock....I just spoke with Wendell and the Live Rock shipment arrives at Ocean Aquatics on September 28, so they could trans ship and it would arrive in Edmonton on the afternoon of September 29 (~5:00 PM).

I am ok to wait until then. Hopefully others will be too. AL, Imran and others...are you okay with September 29 as the arrival date?

The Edmonton Group Order from Ocean Aquatics is set for arrival on the afternoon of September 29.

Everyone that wants in on this order, please send your wish lists into James at Ocean Aquatics (pH 1-800-605-0914) and arrange for payment of your portion of the order. If you cannot make the pick-up time at WestJet, hopefully you can have someone receive your goods at the time of arrival.

Our last group order was awesome and went off without a hitch, so with any luck at all this one will be even better.

Sorry I'm out, can't be there on the 29th for pick up.

When on the 29th is it going to arrive? If it is after 6pm, I may be in.

James will try his best to accommodate. After 5:00 PM works best for most of us. Even if the plane arrives at 5:00 PM, it generally takes another 30-40 minutes to unload the cargo. Sometimes the flight can be somewhat delayed too.

Hello All,
the live rock was delayed until today. We may not be able to get cleared customs in time to ship for 6pm arrival. As many of you are driving long distances a 8 or 9pm arrival may be too late. So I will ship tomorrow for 5-6pm arrival.

Live rock will be in at 7:00pm tonight Shipment will be tomorrow at 4:45 arrival pickup is at 5:25.
