So are you going to sell the tank that you have now????

You can buy acrylic at most glass places like Crystal glass but it is VERY expensive.

You are best to go with Glass if price is a concern.

Check e-bay out as well. I took a chance and bought one off there as as acrylic is light shipping was not too bad.

i plan on drilling holes for overflows and a closed loop system which will not be possible with glass because it loses a lot of strength when drilled
