Whats your dream car or truck?
The title says it all. My all time favorite would have to be the Unimog  . Everybody I talk to says they are impracticle and too high off the ground. Thats what I like about them though. I would like one of these babys more than anything!
http://www.unimog.net/postcards/paqu...404radio-1.jpg http://www.chasseurs-a-pied.com/cqg/...mog%20Tr-1.JPG So there it is what do you think? Matt |
No doubt! Unimogs are sweet. Seen one a couple of a weeks ago in Cowichan Bay.
Good taste! |

Call me old fashion but I love the all American muscle car. Next year this baby will have an new all aluminum 6.0L engine that pumps out an amazing 500 horsepower. move over Viper!

Unimogs are sweet........but I'm a Viper guy at heart
|
Duramax diesel in a GMC, 3/4 ton, 4 door crew cab. Beats my darn Focus wagon.
|
that pic of a vette looks like a viper, same headlights, same marking on the hood, same scoops infront of the doors, but one thing the vette has that the viper doesn't is A HUGE ASS!
It's all about the viper. however, my dream car would have to be a 97 toyota supra Twin turbo :D http://www.fast-autos.net/abflug/supra5.jpg 900hp outta a 3.1L engine. mmm, rebuild! |
|
I'm a humble man all I want is a BMW M3....

My personal object of desire though is one of two Porsches http://www3.us.porsche.com/english/u...ro_foto2_a.jpg http://www3.us.porsche.com/english/u...ro_foto1_a.jpg http://www.a57356.com/img/big-sur.jpg |
that looks like something made out of lego.
funny how all the "simple" guys want a BMW :D I like the one bond has in "tomorrow never dies". It's a 750iL, mmm. Toyota quit sending the Supra to USA for whatever reason, which eventually led ultimately to it's retirement. Now Toyota's "sports car" is the celica, pfff. mmmm, http://www.bmwm5.com/articles.php?id=33 |
Those porsche 356's are awesome..
would also love one of these. http://www.bigwigracecars.com/manx/Manx1_m.jpg |

Shall it be a Shelby GT500 http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...sideview_s.jpg or a Shelby GT500 http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...tang-GT500.jpg |
My dream car would have to be a 1970 chevelle LS6 454 SS. But realistically I'll have to go with my close second a 1966 Pontiac Beaumont of which I already own. This is not a pic of my car (mine has been sitting in a shop at the farm for the last 10 years, waiting for me) but you get the idea.

P.S. Where are those pics taken? |
I adore Ghias .. Maybe some in some nicer condition would be even cooler!
Those pics are from some gem of a wrecker up in your area (Edmonton). He advertises in the bargainfinder. |
Ok I'll try this. Thanks for the help Ryan.

I am even more old school than scotchy
My 1948 Chevy 4 Door http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/MVC-007F.jpg with a 396/700R 4 SPD, MII Front end, 373 Posi. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../MVC-015Fa.jpg and my soon to be year round truck... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r/Hpim0440.jpg |
My nearly obtainable dream car is a subara wrx sti in black. Instead of buying this car before xmas though (I was approved by the bank for it), I bought a regular subaru wrx, used 2002 model, black and paid in cash...
I dunno when the responsibility bug bit me... I kinda regret it now :| As for DREAM car... I dunno, far too many beautiful cars out there. |
Now what we use to dream about, many years ago.
Back around '69 or '70, my friend that picked me up for work, drove a 383 Magnum roadrunner. Another friend has a 'blueprinted" 340 'Cuda, that he raced in Calgary, before coming to Thompson. Another buddie, purchased a new 440 'Cuda, BUT, when a friend picked me up in his brand new, off the truck, 396 Cowl Induction Chevelle, , it made the slober run down your cheek. |

Any vehicle in the word? Absolutely no limit on price? It would still be the Honda Accord Hybrid.
http://www.aiada.org/images/news_pho...id_05_side.jpg It's kinda nice to have a dream car that is so within-your-grasp. Infact, I'b buy one tomorrow if we weren't expecting our third and forced to go straight from Civic to minivan  . - Chad |
These are my Dream cars and it is still possible to get them....With alot of rebuilding work of coarse!!!
The 1972 GTO http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...72_GTO-med.jpg And Or the 1976 Corvette Stingray http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...40776_Vett.jpg |

Do it Tony!! I appreciate the practical and efficient. I love my 86 Golf diesel, but it is going to die. I am doing renos so I want a truck, and I have a growing family. This has been on my desktop for the past week: http://volksweb.relitech.com/vickey/dblcabs.jpg This is what it replaced: http://www.royal-enfield.com/images/...assic%2005.JPG |
