both dates are a Saturday

sumpfinfishe 06-23-2005 02:02 AM

I chose the 30th only cause it's sooner than later, either date works for me tho

props 06-23-2005 02:07 AM

Rich we'll need a special guess speaker

Chad 06-23-2005 02:28 AM

Aug 6th is my wedding... soooooo, I am out on that one for sure.. go go July 30th!!

raquel 06-24-2005 06:15 AM

Good to see that Surrey voters are well represented here. Will the BBQ be in Surrey?

I just threw in my vote to get Vancouver on the map.

dude you could save some money on all those reception costs. just convince your wife that ribs with your dorky reef buddys would be way better than renting out the hotel ballroom.

July 30th falls on the Aug 1st long weekend (B.C. DAY). Won't be in town unfortunately... Going camping.

Xtasia 06-26-2005 07:00 PM

Can you add an option to be available for both dates?

Thanks.

vanreefer 06-27-2005 12:56 AM

props 06-27-2005 02:33 AM

i'll have to see if we can do it on the 13th of august .. the sooner the better as my wife is due this sept..

it'll be a bbq with frag sell/trade/buy gathering .. food will be on me but bring some breverages..

i guess we could add JULY 23

sumpfinfishe 06-27-2005 02:56 AM

Jesse, July 23rd is the Island meeting, myself and a few others I'm sure will be venturing over so that date would clash.

hockey nut 06-27-2005 11:52 PM

Just out of curiousity does it have to be a Saturday? How about Monday August 1st ? It would be a great way to end off the long weekend. I am camping that long weekend but I would be back in time to make an afternoon BBQ.

That Monday always seems to be a casual do nothing day anyways.

How does that work for you Jesse?
If it has to be a Saturday, Aug 6th and 13th are fine as well.

Thanks for setting this up.

sumpfinfishe 06-28-2005 12:16 AM

Kallum,
Jesse and I discussed this and Saturday's seem to work best for most people as Sunday's are usually family day's. Jesse cannot keep changing dates to accomodate everyone-sorry! If he did then we would never have a meeting set. You said that Aug 6th will work for you right, just add it to the poll. Long weekend dates are out as most people go away or plan something during those times.

cheers, Rich

Petcrazy 06-28-2005 05:28 AM

I picked August 6th because I'm on Vacation then...
Otherwise I usually work Sunday mornings, but I don't know how late you'd like a BBQ to go so it may not matter.

HI Rich,

Thats what I thought too.

July 30th is on a long weekend. Thats why I mentioned the long weekend Monday, as most people would be back/around that day.
I agree that Saturdays are much better but it was merely a suggestion, as I see others have made suggestions as well.

Just trying to help.

Anyhow, whatever Saturday you guys decide is great.

Regards Callum

I voted Aug.6th because I'm moving at the end of July. Yippee  more room for bigger fish tanks. higher bills & all the lovely headaches of moving (especially with four set up tanks).

GO BIG BIG BIG BIG BIGGGGGGGGGGGGG

SeaHorse_Fanatic 07-05-2005 07:17 AM

Is a 160g Fowlr, 110g reef & 100g seahorse ranch big enough Jesse?

My current big tank will become my small main tank.

Anthony

<NEED HELP!!! Either counselling or more money to feed this addiction. You know which option I prefer  >

props 07-05-2005 02:13 PM

 i wish i have the room..

Griffin 07-05-2005 03:48 PM

You have the room - just get rid of the furniture  wall to wall tanks

Xtasia 07-05-2005 07:49 PM

oh the humanity.

Sounds like my living room :(

SeaHorse_Fanatic 07-05-2005 08:05 PM

Sounds like mine too (old place & new). Only one sofa for people to sit down on  but 3 big tanks  for them to watch. Going from 188g total to just under 500g (I think) Still that's only 34 square feet of floor space out of 1250, so wifey shouldn't get too upset. She hasn't seen the 6' 110g I'm cycling yet. Hope nothing crashes during the big move. <prayers sent & fingers crossed>

But back to the topic, is a date set yet? Post move would work better for me, obviously. What's the latest scoop?

Anthony (getting ready to build a dog house to live in <with wall-to-wall tanks of course>)

Willow 07-05-2005 08:07 PM

you had a sofa in there?

SeaHorse_Fanatic 07-05-2005 08:10 PM

New place Willow. No sofa in the old place, but what do you expect with 4 tanks in a 430 square foot basement suite. Priorities

Anthony

props 07-07-2005 01:16 AM

hey Anthony maybe we should do the bbq at your new place instead . we'll help you move?
