Down-sizing-time! - Calgary
This isn't a FOR SALE thread, it's an announcement thread... so I'd like to keep it local for now if possible. Or at least in Alberta.
It's time for me to liquidate my 110 gallon and concentrate on the 75, so now's the time to think about getting anything you liked of mine. If you don't know or forget what I have, I'll try to get some pics up real soon. Some of the rock is already spoken for, but there are still some corals and real nice rock, large pieces too. Almost all the LR is encrusted with at least one coral, shroom, zoo, etc. Tangs are spoken for -whew- but I still have a GORGEOUS Lemonpeel Angel, and a Yellowtail Damsel that has been with me for a couple years. The lights are spoken for, but the tank/stand/canopy is still available, and cheap. PM me with requests please, or if you need some info on livestock, etc. I'd like to give preference obviously to locals, but essentially it's dibs to people I owe favours, then open season. Thanks all. http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_tank1.jpg |
Any SPS in there Alan? I could always make a trip down to Cow-town.
|
http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_redmille.jpg
http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_pocillopora.jpg Comes with a cool orange acro crab. The other SPS are mainly leftovers: a Stag, some Caps imbedded in the LR, couple of Scroll corals... and a bunch of frags stuck in holes in the rock. Need any rock? |
How much for the acro with the crab in it?
-Rich |
Rock you say? Hmmm, what are you looking for per pound?
|
Any sort of calcium reactor going up for sale?
|
Acro with crab for $30, so less than I paid.
Rock is $5 per lb. (some come with corals). No reactor, sorry. |
DO you have any lighting up for grabs?
|
Lights are sold but canopy is not, Ryan.
You can get the tank/stand/canopy for $225 OBO. (tank is 72x18x20" with 1/2" glass - comes with 2-3" mixed-grain aragonite and crushed shell sandbed). Nice shallow 20" tank - easy to light. Could be anything from FO to SPS tank - imagine the possibilities! |
 Hey there, Alan!
I PM'ed you about the Lemonpeel Cheers! |
down-sizing

thanks Mario |
Alan I may be interested in your tank stand canopy etc. However I would have to figure out how to move it as i drive a sunfire! Consider it sold  I also would be interested in any of the softies you may still have left or perhaps some LPS

Robb, you get a van and some buddies over here, and presto! here's some corals too:
This Candycane is truly a frosty blue colour - amazing. http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_bluecandy.jpg Electric Green: http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_greencandy.jpg Very cool: http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_pinkzoos.jpg Spoken for! http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_lemonpeel.jpg Most of these are for Deb, I think: http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_eskimozoos.jpg Beautiful Echinaster needs a good home too: http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_star.jpg |

Hey Alan, My girlfriend will kick my a## but I want the star fish and 2 big peices of LR as well as the frogspawn we discussed prior. Too bad about the lemon peel, you know I loved that guy!

With a shallow tank the surface agitation easily swirls around to depth. Did I mention it comes with sandbed? And there's 2 little Pocillipora buds on the back wall from a spawn - anyone know how to get those off? They're tiny... would be cool if they grew into some frags like the ones reefer_11 posted for sale. |

Ok, keep me posted. I'm going to need some big chunks to raise up my rock hight in the new tank, its 24 inches.

How much more for the accessories (PH's and Heaters)?

Wow, that didn't take long, good job Alan!
|
Yes and he did not post in the "Buy and Sell" at all.,. He just made an "announcement" Kudos to you Alan.
|
Alan I guess I've gotta be quicker to get in on those deals. Fortunately I am not in the market for anything right now as I too am considering downsizing and selling off my 130 gallon and contents.

sorry to hear that you are downsizing :(
that tank is really beautiful Tak |
thanks tak - have a couple of frags left. i thought they were millepora, but have now been told they are likely prostrata. nice frags with blue highlights, branching yet fuzzy like a mille.
both are on one rock, one ~4" and the other ~2" long. could snap them off, but it might be safer to consider buying the rock and frags togther. (rock is about 2 lbs and has a couple striped and spotted shrooms on it as well). should also mention that Will has his eye on the rock, so it might take some negotiating. http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_prostrataboth.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_prostrata1.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/reefs/4sale_prostrata2.jpg the frags are $20 for the both, and the rock... TBA... |
