Darren,

I could help, but just be for warned that I have some flatworms that you may not want back with your corals. If you do not get any better options feel free to give me a call on my cell, I'll email it to you. I will be home by noon or so.

Scott

our 90g did something similar once - this may seem obvious, but in case you haven't considered it. if you lower the temp rapidly you will cause more bad to happen by the rapid drop. you might try get it down to 90 fairly quickly then drop it slowly maybe a half a degree an hour, or back to 80 overnight. i'm not certain bout sps, but i know the others can tolerate up to 88 or 90 if done slowly. just a thought i expect you considered already. good luck. shane

well I am back.. not looking good.. Yellow leather is really drooping... It is basically laying on the sand.. Water is all cloudy.. temp has dropped in it's own in the time I have been gone.. back down to 81 now..

Lights are off. Putting the HM on was not gonna happen..

Don't know if I will have anything left..

Never dealt with something like this..

I'll be out in an hour or so Marc. Any water you can spaer will be appreciated..

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happened to my Q-tank a month ago. Temputure stayed at 90F for a couple days until I noticed my two branacle blennies were dead in the tank. Fortuantely the two poor guys were the only creatures in that tank at the time. RIP blenies.
In my case it's the cheapo heater.
