my 130 gal tank shot
Tank after 4 months. Still got a long way to grow. Really just getting started. My tank is a mixture of what was in the 2 year old 90 gal acrylic I bought in early Sept 04 and what I have added since I got the 130 set up in early Oct 2004.
The 90 has since been converted to a cichlid tank for now. Sorry for the over exposed tank shot. I can't seem to get it right and still fit the whole tank in the picture. The others are a few of the very over exposed items items you can't see in the tank picture. Still can't figure out how to transfer the photos straight to the thread. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...007v2c.jpg?610 http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...mrock.jpg?7241 http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...polyp.jpg?5873 http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat..._worm.jpg?8415 http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...allop.jpg?4603 Scallop action photo with blue electric flash. 130 gal system list---- Equipment: Fluval 404 filter Aqau medic turbofloater 1000 skimmer Turbo twist 18 watt uv sterilizer Coral Life 6 foot pc (2 96 watt 10000k daylights, 2 96 watt actinic 03 blues, 5 LED lunars) Coral Life 4 foot pc ( 2 65 watt 10000 dalights, 2 65 watt actinics) 3 powerheads ( adding 2 more in the next week or two - seio 820's) 2 heaters Livestock: yellow tang coral beauty percula clown 3 cleaner shrimp peppermint shrimp fire shrimp arrow crab emerald crab neon damsel blue devil damsel allan damsel 4stripe damsel 2- blue line chromis 5- green chromis yellow tail damsel royal grama cleaner wrasse yellow wrasse 6stripe wrasse 2 - bengai cardinals purple firefish 2 orange spot gobies catfish electric flame scallop pencil urchin long spine urchin green spot mandarin RBTA with crab sandsifter star black brittle star purple serpent star numerous hermits & snails Coral & stuff approx 250 lbs of live rock (mix from Indo, Fiji & Tonga) 2-3 inch sand bed Green mushrooms purple shroom blue shrooms sponges pagoda cup Christmas tree worm rock large feather dusters coco worm green open brain red open brain zoos and a few Bob frags orange cap frogspawn pearl bubble Digitata's (several colours and sizes of frags) purple cap frag zenia/flower pot star polyps yellow polyps cauliflowers leather cabbages orange and yellow sun polyps a few corals I don't know the name of yet. Snappy,
You did everything right in your pic posts except for 1 thing. You need to remove the ? and any numbers behind it for the actual image to post. So your img tag would look like http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ank_007v2c.jpg Resulting in http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ank_007v2c.jpg Just edit your post and remove those ?'s and numbers and they should all work. Nice looking tank by the way :) |
very nice very nice!

Thank you for helping me with the photo transfer. After your explaination I think I finally get it.
Thanks, Greg |
I'm pretty sure I fixed the image links last night  Someone undid it, or I was dreamin'

BTW, nice pics Greg!

Thanks,
I wish I could get all my pics a decent size but it keeps telling me I don't have room in my account so I have to shrink them. The tank looks a little different from when you last saw it Danny. Thanks for getting the pics up for me. I unfortunately discovered tonight one of my gobies was suicidal and took a jump to the other side of the glass. :frown: I need to seal up the back some how as that is the 4th fish I've found dried up on the carpet since Oct. I've noticed that you have much more in the tank now than when I was there. One of the benifits of a large tank I guess, mine is pretty much full!

The tank is coming along real nice Greg.
I love those Electic Flame Scallops!!! |

That scallop is awesome. Unfortunately it's very hard to get a good action shot with the blue electric flash going all the way accross to really show it off. The posted picture only shows a small portion of the actual flash. Greg |
Beautiful tank!

you can do it with coral photohouse or adobe also. But i think he doesnt have enough room in his folder. I think he can resize them megatron_55

I have the ability to resize with my adobe photoshop program which is how I was able to get them into the CR folder, my real problem is not having enough room in my account. I am not sure how some people get so many pics in their gallery. It will only let me have about 5-6 at a time. Perhaps I am misunderstanding how to do it properly.

Greg, when you resize the image you also need to reduce the JPEG quality for each. Then the physical size (pixels) and the file size (Kilobytes) is smaller, and you can fit more pics in your account.
If you open the file in Photoshop, choose File --> Save for Web, and then set the levels there. For example, your tank shot in this thread is 174K (highest quality), when it should be closer to 35K (medium quality). If you exceed your account limits it's usually because of combined file size, not the number of pictures. |
Thank you for the tip Al. After I get back from Mexico I will take a few new updated pics, assuming my son doesn't kill my tank while I'm gone.
