65 gallon tank and stand

Deal on my tank and stand fell through due to uncontrollable and unfortunate circumstances.

Tank is a Hagen 65 gallon tank. 48" long 18" wide and 18" tall. Front glass only has a couple of scratches, it is in decent condition. Stand is something that my father and I made. The shelf on the left hand side was partially cut out in order for me to fit in a canister filter and CO2 tank. Other than that, stand is also in decent condition. It should be able to hold just about any standard tank with a 48"x18-20" footprint.

Here are some pictures of it while it was running.

Tank and stand includes one 200watt ebo jager heater, one 200watt tronic heater, one sliding glass canopy, one plastic canopy, one 48" NO fluorescent fixture (no bulb) and one Emporer 400 (status of which is unknown, since I haven't used it for ages). Also includes the two temperature strips seen stuck to the front of the glass. Basically everything that is needed to start up a new tank! Minus powerheads and any other equipement used for water movement. The glass on this tank is not tempered, so it can be easily drilled. There is also no center brace on this tank as well. The dimensions of the tank are particularly nice because it allows more aquascaping options than a standard 55 gallon tank.

I'd like to sell the entire setup for 270 dollars. I would also accept trades for other kinds of equipement (ie. out of sump skimmers, pumps, small calcium reactors, etc.). Parting out is an option as well, please PM me for more details on that.

Ok, I'm done talking like a used cars salesmen now

Why don't you set it up as salt and move your reef over...

Richer 02-05-2005 06:23 AM

If I do that, I'm going to end up spending another crap load of money... since its school time and I don't exactly have a full time job, I don't think thats too wise   . The point of this whole thing is to downsize

When you say not tempered you mean all sides and the bottom or just the sides ?

Richer 02-08-2005 02:33 PM

I meant the bottom, but I'm pretty sure that the sides aren't tempered neither because you're able to put a stratch on it. Email Hagen about the tank, thats what I did to find out that the bottom isn't tempered.

Is it on their website?
And is it an "All-Glass" tank?

Richer 02-08-2005 03:38 PM

The info isn't on their site, you're going to need to email them about it, and yes, it is an allglass aquarium.
