Hey, does the autofeeder need to be hardwired?

It uses an aquabus cable to get power and control from the apex unit.

There is a also an input for direct power but I never used it without the apex....

was hoping I could have a glorified auto-feeder on my display, but my APEX is located remotely in my crawlspace.

You don't have a 100' Aquabus cable kicking around?
