I have found good livestock hard to find lately. Kind of surprised these are not gone

Khiyasu 06-06-2021 01:56 PM

My guess is the price. Although or of stock now local retailers are selling the flame hawk $85 and sailfin $65 plus taxes

oh ya what location. I bet you will be hard to find them. I payed 100 for my hawk from j and l and was on a 1 year wait list and they cant even get them anymore. also a tang this size is listed at 220 plus . I agree those are normal prices a year ago or so. anyway if you can find them for that I would grab it. these are really healthy and have been with me for a while.

Maybe I was looking at the wrong fish but from what I saw those were Canada corals and JL prices. I’m not looking for these fish personally but you mentioned you were surprised that they’re still available so I looked up prices and would be my guess of why they’re not sold. Or maybe nobody wants to drive to Chilliwack. Generally seems like people expect to pay less that retail from hobbyist, or similar as retail at best if it’s something that cant be got easily.

The issue is the price I offered to take them but the price is too high I had a bigger tang that I got for 30$ from a reefer no one will pay store prices...

ok ya the issue is I don't have to sell so I would like to get close to what they are worth. its still not store prices because I find flame hawkfish hard to find and a sailfin at that price is most likely really tiny. look at the prices for larger ones. anyway I always am willing to work something out to the write buyer.

What kind of damsels are they?
