Who all has big tanks.
Hey all. Just wondering who out there also has a huge reef. My tank is 120”x38.5x28 tall. It’s an acrylic tank I made myself a few years ago. I’ll upload some pics later but just wondering if anyone else has a tank this size or bigger

I wish! I topped out at a 300g tank.

Ya, mine topped out at 290. I wish it were bigger but I'm struggling with this one as it is. :)

mines pretty big if you compare it to a nano

Mines a whopping 350. If I had to do it again I would probably get it another 6" deeper (front to back). I have had bigger tanks but this size is perfect. By the way my tank size is in litres  so I guess in the end I don't measure up to the rest of you. My wife has said it is big enough and that's good enough for me.

I've been struggling with cyano for months and done multiple chemi-clean treatments without success. Gone through 4 x 200g boxes of salt in the last 2 months with water changes and still every day red cyano...took the tank dark for a week but all that did was hurt the surviving SPS. It will be beat, but i'm pretty frustrated right now. |

That would be interesting to see. I admit I have not calibrated my refractometer in a long while...will do that tonight.

im at a little over 600 gal not including the sump . Been cycling for 4 months and still waiting for the ammonium to get down to zero . Nitrates just started to climb so I should be ready soon ….. I hope

Wasn't sure I could come back from losing so much but trying to look forward to my growing tank again. |
