When I look at it on first glance it appears to be bubble tip anemone of some sort. Especially if it’s moving around. |

I believe manjano only get to be about an inch or so in size. If it is a manjano they are considered very bad pests as they spread very quickly in the tank. I do not know if they move around, however you may have more than one of them which would explain in multiple places in your tank. I would keep a close eye on it especially if you do not have any bubble tip anemones in your tank so therefore no reason to have a small one. It is definitely not an Aiptasia |

Check out the following post, apparently majanos walk as well. The picture posted Jan 6, 2014 looks a lot like what you have. |

Could definitely be a a madani, it would probably come down to the tentacle tip shape. |

I wonder if a copperband butterfly would eat those? Mine destroyed every single aptasia it could find. |

They are hard to feed, once aptasia disappears your CBB has to eat Mysis and some just don’t. My CBB is Reef safe and a model citizen in the reef. Just an option if your majanos get out of control and you want a natural solution. |
