Just considering....

Considering a meet at my place in either January of possibly early February, anyone be interested?

kuatto 12-19-2004 10:50 PM

Um....uh...Yea  Always looking for an exscuse to mingle with other fish geeks  There were a few of the newer people who didn't get a chance to attend the last meet.

Richer 12-19-2004 10:50 PM

Yes

Its not often I can hang around people who understand my fishy babble

-Rich

michika 12-19-2004 10:52 PM

I was one of them, hence my interest in throwing another one.

I have a house, so no worries on space, or time. Depends on the intersest in it.

kuatto 12-19-2004 10:58 PM

Come onnnnn guys and gals, don't pass up a chance for free grub and a chance to go "ooooh...ahhhh" at another tank  For god sake, think of the fish!!!!..ok I'm done (in case you're wondering,I want to go.)

michika 12-19-2004 11:06 PM

I figured as much...would it be just you, or your whole family?

There isn't much fish to look at right now...hopefully everything will be less temporary by then...in otherwords I'm hoping for a new bigger and drilled tank by then end of December!

kuatto 12-19-2004 11:14 PM

Just me and Karen

michika 12-19-2004 11:15 PM

If I had a frag, I would reward you for being the first person to respond!

Richer 12-19-2004 11:18 PM

95% sure it'd just be me if I was going.

Murminator 12-20-2004 04:24 AM

I've heard of Glenora not Genora

Count me and my ol' lady(AKA Karen) in also

P.S. When she finds out I called her my old lady she'll kill me

michika 12-20-2004 04:50 AM

Gah! 0.o damned keyboard...yes...thats right its the keyboards fault...I fixed the word Glenora...but Deadmonton is staying the way it is...I still haven't developed much of an affection for this city yet.

Lots of room, its a 2 story house so no worries on space really, parking is fine, you just might have to park a couple houses down. The only thing that worries me is that I practically own a zoo, so allergy-cursed people beware. And I hope all of your are decently capable of bending down cause I have the biggest suck of a dog...

No particular date set, it just can't be the last weekend of January for us since we'll be out of town. Might even extend it into February if it works better.

I'm thinking the list won't go higher then say 30 some people assuming people like to carpool. Potluck style for food and drinks I guess.

Suddenly my tank feels like it needs some serious upgrading....

kuatto 12-20-2004 05:00 AM

OOH,I get to cook  maybe sweet n sour meatballs in the crockpot.

meeting

I would like to come to if you are not to full

michika 12-20-2004 02:23 PM

If you want to cook you'd better bring your own crockpot...

Still lots of room, I think I will have to ask for people to possibly bring some chairs, I'm not sure...

Tentitively I'm thinking maybe the second weekend in January. I'm not sure though.

Its okay Dez, the ironic thing was that as I was typing you a PM saying I'd gotten the money together, I got an email saying there was new posting in the thread and it was sold...talk about bad timing!

PrairieReefer 12-20-2004 06:54 PM

I'd be in if the date and time works out for me.

Edmonton Eskimo 12-21-2004 05:06 AM

mmm food! I'm gonna bring my seafood dip(I used to be a chef so don't worry  )

michika 12-21-2004 05:08 AM

mr_alberta 12-21-2004 05:21 PM

michika 12-21-2004 05:24 PM
