After a year of battling trying to reach stable parameters I've finally started to become happy with the progress and coloration of the SPS in my coral system.
It's close to a 400G total system with with a mix of LPS and SPS.

Ultra low nutrient tank. Skimmer runs 8 hours during the day and off at night.
Alk 8.0
Cal 440
Mag 1350
Nitrates >1
ULR Phosphorus .52

Dosing ESV B Ionic Part
Supplementing Aminos with TLF Acro Power
Feed Bi Weekly with my own blend or coral food.

What type of lighting ?

Mostly T5 ATI blue + But some accent LED Also.
I do have radion gen 3 pros over certain parts of the tank also.

That's one of those high end $1000 cameras that also act as a phone. Great pictures with a phone that is not designed to take underwater pictures

Actually I use a top down viewer!

I dont use any gel filters or anything but the camera offers a pro mode and focuses pretty well. It is as close to what the eye sees as I can get it. I hate when pics are so saturated its just straight blue lol.

Frogger lol I should read and not just look at the picture book .
I like the jf flame acro ... still looking for that one .

The picture doesn't do it justice. That piece has been through a lot and just keeps growing even at a time when other corals were crashing several months ago. It has over tripled in size since I got it a year ago. Got it from Adam at Frag Garage on the Island. Now that I have things under control (knock on wood) it growing like stink almost as fast as the rainbow loom.

If you want to treat your self this year for Christmas to some corals that have colours that will knock your socks off .
Then talk to Wheelman, I got a frag pack from him just over 4 months ago on the Edmonton group buy. Corals are for sure better in person . Thanks Jess your the Jedi Master reefer .

Nice corals but I see everything is on eggcrate. Do you not have a display tank?

Yes I do a 130 gal but its mostly LPS, my coral table is where my SPS is kept.

Cant seem to get SPS to take off it in the display tank, very slow growing, I think it's a mix of to much LPS and the LED lighting creating hot spots.

Too bad you can't fill up a display with those gems.

Im working on switching back to T5 or MH for this reason. Got decent growth and liked the LED but its still not like tue good old days.
