Where do you guys get your tanks filled in Vancouver area? Do you get food grade?

Kms tools by Ikea do it.

Any brewing supply stores do it. There is one on East Columbia in Sapperton. There is another one in New West: Royal City Fire Supplies, on 12th Street.

Hey Frank, in my experience KMS fills have been kind of poor, they just have a bank of co2 tanks they equalize your tank with so if theirs are in need of a fill you'll get a short fill. Royal City Fire has always given me max pressure fills, not sure if they use a compressor to pump it but for my money it's worth the extra drive for the fill.

+1 on Royal City....KMS originally referred them to me because they couldn't give me a complete fill...their pressure was too low so only got a half fill. Royal City uses a compressor, plus they can recertify your tank when the time comes.

I go to AW Fireguard & Supplies in Port Moody. I guess it depends if you mean downtown Vancouver. Maybe New West is close enough for you or if you

FYI,
Used Fairlane Fire Prevention (Capitol Hill) in North Burnaby, primarily for convenience. was $50 for a 20lb tank refill. |
Another vote for Royal City, as well they typically can do it on the spot rather than having to drop off and pick up later. Long time I had one filled but it was around $20-$25 dollars for a 5lb bottle
