I Dez always has stuff in his frag tank (softies, LPS, SPS) and Duaine in Ft. Saskatchewan (user name russell I believe) has some beautiful mother colonies of leather corals for sale and probably has a bunch of other frags kicking around in his tank. I would start by PM-ing them and hopefully work something out.

I've got a piece of colt coral that I finally just got to attach to a piece of rubble.

PM me if you want it.

So now that I have a little bit of time I thought I'd post pics of the frag I stole from Harvey. I removed the Clove Coral and attached it to another rock and cleaned the stock that the Frog Spawn is growing on.

Never Attached pics before... hmmmm...

Check the content of the image tags to see what I put in there. Also, there is a sticky at the top of the pictures forum with instructions for putting pics in the thread.

Link goes to a dead page...

mr_alberta 12-10-2004 02:33 PM

Edmonton_Eskimo is correct in that they are sometimes called glove polyps, but glove and clove polyps are both from the same species (Clavularia species) and both are also commonly referred to as Eight Tentacle Polyps. Confused? I am

MagnumReefer 12-13-2004 01:14 AM

Ah Ha! or Eureka!!
So I looked them both up and now I know the simularities and differences.

It's kinda hard to tell but I have to agree (not taking sides  ) with EE. the tenticles are a little fuller like the Glove polyp... either way, at least I can treat it the same way

Thnx Guys!!!

Darryl

thank god they have the same requirements or we'd have lots of dead polyps!
