Looks very nice.
There is something about an inwall tank that just makes it look that much better. Sure wish I had room in my house for an inwall tank and a fish room... Cheers |
Wow, that looks sharp. Nicely done!
|
VERY nice
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. but i think your fish room is a little too organized.
|
Looks really good. More close ups of the tank and the equipment room would be great!!
|
thanks guys , all try to get more shots on tomorrow , i honestly do try to keep it neat in there , although it's only been going for a month or so, thanks -Russ

Very Nice...I agree some more equipment pics for us design geeks and close ups for the Coral Whisperers...please.
Sooooo...just lino to go for the fish room floor and then the family gets furniture and carpet?  I wish my wife was that understanding! |
i like how the fishtank setup is completed before there's carpet in the living room,
|
Right on Rus, Looks very sharp. Now don't go showing to many pics or I won't have to stop by.

Looks sweet Rus,
Looks Like a lot of work youve done since ive seen it last, very nice work in and out side of the fish room. My girlfriend is none too happy with me since i came back from your house with all the new ideas for the tv room....lol, your work is equally impressive there. I see what you meant about the pocket door sliders, how did you fasten the 2x6/8 to the roof ?.....they look great. Marc. |
thanks again for the compliments , i have a few more pics to add , [ Marc ,thanks man , just make sure you tell her you need the tv to be at least 50'' lol , the tracks are held on by a 2 2x4 s nailed like a corner , and then screwed to the joist in the cieling ]
carpet is scheduled for the next few weeks had to order furniture first for colors , and work is keeping me pretty swamped lately if anyone wants a specific pic of something just let me know , i still have a fair bit to do in the room , but it's coming along , tank has been running for just over a month again , so i''l be adding corals more and more http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...oom008-med.jpg http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...age015-med.jpg |
what's the tall thing in between the calc reactor and the skimmer?
|
Good grief, that fish room is so organized I thought it was Jonathan's!

Any troubles reaching the front of the tank? |
i figured if i start out with a clean area maybe i can keep like this for a while , [ although i 'm sure my wife wishes i would keep my office as clean as i keep my fish room !! ] ]
tank access is actually very easy , i put a lot of forethought into this , and used others designs to make it , the stand has an 8" lip around it that i can stand on for tank cleaning and such , and with the light box on tracks , it opens up the whole area for me. Invigor Posted: 13 Nov 2004 03:54 Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what's the tall thing in between the calc reactor and the skimmer? kalk reactor , from oceanaquatics , it's the 24'' model , set to a digital timer that turns on the pump 4 times a day for 4minutes a time , all top off water from the resevoir above goes thru this reactor. by the way i'm looking for some monti cap frags if anyone has some available.?? thanks -russ |
Very nice indeed
I'm sure your gonna get some serious viewing hours from that design, I love the fishroom too  Excellent work  |
