RSM250 - Red Sea Max 250 - 200$
 

I bought this and a some other equipment recently from a member here.

When I picked it up, it had an insanely thick calcium build up and was very dirty.

I was unable to see the tank filled and couldn't really see the tank clearly.

I asked the seller if there were any major scratches, he indicated that there were none and that the tank was in great shape.

The seller seemed like a good guy and the price was right so I bought it and took it home.

As soon as I got it home and soaking in some vinegar, I noticed that the glass was actually quite scratched.

No real deep ones, but so many light ones, especially on the front pane.

They aren't as visible when the tank is full and while I was a little put off, I was still going to set it up.

I had some issues arise and left it for a week, soaking.

This last weekend, I emptied it and rinsed it out so it was totally spotless/clean.

What I found now that the bottom pane was clean and old substrate gone was the the front right bottom corner looks like it has suffered an impact.

It never leaked while I had it filled (2 weeks total sitting full) but the telltale spider web is there.

I have been in contact with the seller and while he has been accommodating by text to a degree, I just want to be done with this and get it out of my kitchen.

So I would not really attribute any value to the tank itself.

As such, I'm asking 200 for the canopy (works great, all lights, moonlights and fans work, the cooling fan is brand new) and stand which is in good shape as well.

It has 3 skimmer pumps included as well.

Tank is scratched and has some damage in lower right corner that does not seem to be leaking (filled for 2 weeks in my kitchen and no leaks).

The guy who I bought it from is working with me on this but in the meantime, I'd just like to cut my losses and get it out of my kitchen and save us both the hassle.
