Struggling with salt bucket lid?

Found this while trying to find something easy to open since the salt buckets lids are just little pieces of craps from hell. Should be a very useful stuff for a lot of us :)

I used to have a bucket of salinity but threw it away (and the bucket was filled with reefer's best too!) after leaving the hobby. And I don't want to spend $100 on that salt; too inconsistent.

Why are there so many complaints about buckets? The old screw on Instant Ocean buckets were my favorite, but I don't find any of them difficult to deal with.

Yah they are suppose to be but I have had two bad batches and their customer service wasn't very helpful in accepting that bad batches in any salt can happen. So I gave up, moved to another brand.

I don't find them difficult. How about a pair of these? http://www.amazon.ca/fit-Starter-Han...d+strengthener

My salt bucket lid opener is free, not only that it has multipurpose uses, such as fixing things and reaching things I can't. I call it my husband ;)

Next to the cost savings, this is exactly why I buy boxes and not buckets now

Its for the wife as we put flour in a 5 gal bucket and she has trouble opening the pail
