Tuuurrrnn arrrouuunndd Bright Eyes!
Sorry, the friggin radio did that to me this morning when they were talking about the eclipse. I've had that damned song in my head all day. Here's my contribution to the picture pile. http://www3.telus.net/seamonkey68/Eclipse1a1.jpg I just thought this one was cool, I was messing around with the settings on the camera (I've had it 3 yrs and am still discovering stuff ) http://www3.telus.net/seamonkey68/Eclipse4a.jpg Christy :) |
one final one. the moon was gettin real bright so it was diffucult.
And by the way christy howd did you take the pictures? http://www.geocities.com/seanward84/moon3.jpg |
Very cool pics  Saw the eclipse from our balcony last night. Clear sky at last around here
|
My camera has a night setting. Basically it leaves the shutter open for a couple of seconds and opens up the aperature to 11 point something. The second pic, I was messing around with the manual settings. I took about 60 pics, each with its own setting so I couldn't tell you what the settings were for that one. I think the shutter speed was pretty quick though.

Yeah i have teh night setting to but no tripod. I had to put my camera through the telescope lens to get that close up.
|
I definitely had to use a tripod. I took a couple pictures without and there are like 4 moons doing a dance in the picture. I also used my 2x telephoto lens which I had forgotten I have  Works great when I actually remember to use it

Heh the morning of the eclipse,as I was driving to work they mentioned it on the radio and then followed it by that song. I had it in my head all day. I would just get rid of it and then someone would mention the eclipse and there it was again
