Yes as per the write up by reef builders Bubble Magus have been developing it for a few years and only make their own pumps.

The pumps are made amd assembled in USA? No Chinese involvement like all the other DC pumps?

Bubble magus are a Chinese company therefore they would be made in China, I am not aware of a DC skimmer pump made anywhere else on the market

Any idea when it'll be available in North America? Is it available in China today?

As a spare part yes I guess eventually as a separate SKU

Oh, I though Bubble Magus was an American company. Their regular pumps are pretty good, so hopefully these ones are too. :)

It is the water outlet weir control gearbox it allows for very fine adjustment to balance with the pump giving infinite control options

Do they have a wiper for the dc8

I'm sure we have a unit that will fit since these most prob use Curve 7 and 9 bodies.

Can the existing BM skimmers be converted to use DC motors?
