Corals vs Corals, fight!!! (w/ pictures)
 

So I'm always curious to know which corals will kill other corals. I've learned several valuable lessons after few years in the hobby and have saved some pics of what happens WHEN CORALS ATTACK!

Post pics if you can, or even scientific names of the corals when possible

Frogspawn vs chalice

Chalice won. Sorry didn't think to take a pic. It was more of a "oh $@!x that frogspawn is murdering my chalice!!!!" type moment. I was wrong the frogspawn took the hit

And the damage on the right side of the Echinata happened 3 weeks ago from a mushroom.

Acan echinata always wins lol

+ 1 , they have a potent sting for sure , i don't think I've seen an echinata lose to anything.

Add hydnophora to the mix, it kills most everything!

As Tyler suggested about mushrooms the Echinata lost a while ago to one, I'll dig up a photo of the culprit

That's neat, are they still growing toward each other or stale mate? Looks like the bottom stole some pigment from the other?

They are in stalemate in that picture, the frags were in a poor spot and my tank has been just living but not flourishing lately. They seem to have backed off from each other. The poker star was taking out the orange monti, you can see the white line where I broke the Poker Star monti side off its own plug.

Here is another one, apparently I don't manage my frag racks too well. This time it is a Spongodes I believe although lots of people get confusa-ed.

+2, I had a chalice fall over onto an echinata, it wasn't pretty.

I was just reminded of the time my son and I fed a bristle worm to a green palythoa. The Paly ate it! When it opened later it was all beat to hell like a dog that met a porcupine, but it recovered in a day or two.

Nope. That was probably the nicest, most expensive coral I ever lost.

Heres another. Dont place a Pavona near zoas or palys! I cut the top off and left the base behind, it took out a bunch of palys including about 20 head of Utter Chaos :(
