new addition and pre water change pics.....
i do water changes once a month or less, i dont feed much, fish live off of baby cherry shrimp, cherry shrimp live off plants and crap, crested geckos get fed regularly tho


cut out a few handfuls of plants last week as they were taking over
lost all the red in my plants due to not enough light

I'm not a big fan of red plants anyway, so I actually think it looks better now than it did with the red in the plants. Nice black Betta too. :D

Why can't you? To be honest I don't really need it on this tank. Only using it because i had it laying around from a previous tank. This tank is all about low maintenance :)

the waterfall makes it pointless, aerates the water too much

Make sense(ish). I think it would still help... Maybe Just as not as much benefit. How about a liquid carbon like excel or metracide?
