Some zoos available for Saturday Mysis & beer pickup
Zoos "sold out"
What kind of costs are we looking at Bob? I would perhaps be interested in 6 and 9.
If I were to post a price, I would have to move this post to the Buy & Sell forum. I don't want to do that for a strictly one time deal, so sending a PM is the best route. OK
PM'd U Bob
Bob, those are some nice looking zoos!! Good job.
^updated
Bob, have you got any PPE's? I would love to see some in person to see what the hype is all about.

PPE = Purple People Eater: the holy grail of zoos
http://www3.telus.net/seamonkey68/ppe.jpg Here is an ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW This actually looks pretty cheap. They sometimes go for up to $50 per polyp but this auction has a ways to go yet. Christy :) |
Well it looks very impressive. I just wonder how much is due to lighting, and macro photography. I too have zoos that look very impressive under some lights, and are knockouts under great enlargement, but in real life.....
I think they are probably impressive but that pic looks like it has alot of photoshopping and bright lights overhead. There are many more realistic pics (IMO) on ebay (one of the few places I could find a pic as RC's search engine is down again  ). Just do a search with the keyword PPE in the fish section.
Christy :) |
thanks Christy, yeah I was not sure how much the pics are doctored. Some have been sold for close to a thousand for only a small frag.
I thought the blues were the holy grail? I guess I should hang out on RC more.
I did see a photo of a yellow M. cap with blue polyps the other day. |
