Vertex rodi issue.

Changed filters last week turned on to make water and have low booster pressure and low water production.. So I then put in new membrane. Made sure multiple times that there was no trapped air. Still low pressure and minimal water produced

Any ideas?

I don't know much about the booster pump systems.
I'd be inclined to replace again one of the just replaced filters - maybe you got a faulty one.

Have you disconnected any hoses or electrical wires?
Just in case, I found this link, that you can compare to:

Sounds like the booster is fried , does it turn on can you feel it vibrate when it kicks in?

Proteus 04-19-2015 04:14 PM

Booster kicks in.. Goes up to 60psi

ronau 04-19-2015 04:48 PM

Sounds like pump is done, both of mine run at ~125 psi.

reefwars 04-19-2015 04:50 PM

Agreed 60psi is what you should get without the booster

Proteus 04-19-2015 04:52 PM

Looks like I'll be ordering a pump

If not ask them for a used booster pump to buy they always have them in stock :)

hillegom 04-19-2015 05:41 PM

Before you order new, check your connections.
Is the booster pump getting power?
Is the pressure sender sending the proper signal? If not, the pump will think that the psi is already high.
As mentioned take the pump off line and see if it will run, if it is getting power?
12V pump? maybe the transformer if pump does not start.
A lot of things to check before you have to spend big bucks

Proteus 04-19-2015 05:48 PM

I can feel the pump vibrate,

The Codfather 04-19-2015 06:02 PM

Pump

Nick, I think I've a pump(used, but works) downstairs if you need one ASAP, feel free to use it until you get a replacement.
I've actually got a whole setup, so anything you might need, I should have.
