Been a rough journey :) I have 2 simply to have a backup spare. If they both make it, one will get re-homed.

They do look rather settled in the tank though, so a bit optimistic.

Let's all be realistic here though, the chances aren't even 50/50. These are some of the hardest fish to keep, and mostly I think it depends on the individuals you get. Mine still aren't eating offered food, where some eat in the first hour. Some never eat. Some eat and then die.
Trying my best, and I think if they eat, I'll be good.

If they both start eating and gaining weight, I predict Brad will have no choice but to remove one from the display tank eventually since the dominant one will try to kill the other. If the remaining one starts to gain weight and grows in size and lives for many months or years but dies one day suddenly, then its death will occur at night. :) Of course, it can die from starvation or disease and it can wither away in which case death is imminent. But if it was gaining weight and growing but dies unexpectedly (which is reported frequently), it will happen at night.

So far, but like I posted in the other thread, another guy who got 2 lost them in a week. But they did die overnight, as Sam predicted.

That's because you forgot to play ALL the ocean sounds , most important the seagulls......everyone knows waves are just plain annoying without all the REAL sounds that go with it :)
