What's Your Favourite Tools?

I have a little 20 gallon but I'm sure there are tools we don't think of that work wonders. I'd like to hear from other reefers on their favourite tools.

I'll start:

1. Turkey Baster - target feeding, movin' stuff around on the bottom without getting my hands wet.

2. Toothbrush - I'm battling hair algae and have found a toothbrush to be the best at cleaning equipment in the tank until I take it out and do a full clean. Also does wonders on liverock and the like.

Bonsai concave cutters. Fragging, cutting rock, and anything else that needs cutting. Been with me for years :)

An arm extender at least that's what I call it to reach the bottom 1/3 of my tank had it for years and always found use for it and the best thing is I only payed few dollops for it.lol
it's a double tong clamp.

I think it counts as long as something is being done right:biggrin:

Funnel - for filling ro/di resin, GFO and carbon. No mess!!

Extenders/grabbers...lazy...but keeps my arms dry...and I can pinch people with them

I find a surprising number of uses for wooden BBQ skewers. They are great for picking schmutz out of new corals, cleaning the tube inside tlf reactors, 2 of them are chopsticks to pick out frags that fell, snail shells, etc..

Due to the shape of my tank and difficulty with normal magnetic cleaners long handled algae scrapers are my favourite friends

I have a large round brush in the shape of a pipe cleaner attached to a long piece of whipper snipper wire for cleaning my hoses when needed.

1/4 drive snap on air ratchet , more useful than my left hand and one day ill find a use for it around my tank.

My kit of dental tools - picks, probes, mirrors, etc. Also turkey baster - when it was time to baste my thanksgiving turkey I told my daughter to run and get the turkey baster from my aquarium cabinet. She told me I was " so gross". Go figure!!!
