We don't have any at the moment but I'm not sure if there's any coming tomorrow or not but I can check for you:)

reefwars 10-01-2014 03:45 AM

Powder blues at $45!!!!!

That's a deal right there:mrgreen:

reefwars 10-01-2014 03:45 AM

$20 convict tangs....Dave's off his rocker lol

Scythanith 10-01-2014 04:56 AM

Sounds like an interesting concept. Are the fish going to be floating at least or are you going to have people lifting them in and out of boxes? Seems like it might be pretty stressful on the fish that have been manhandled for a while.

Risk vs reward I guess!

Oilers 10-01-2014 08:02 AM

Denny,
Would you be able to ship to Edmonton?

corpusse 10-01-2014 12:54 PM

I wish more stores did this, but shipment times are probably not usually ideal for sale times. I'd much rather take a fish home straight from the shipping bag then have it be in the stores water for a couple of hours.

Myka 10-01-2014 02:29 PM

Don't forget to inform your customers of the pH/ammonia issue when they are acclimating fish that have been in bags for a long time! That could take the fun right out of it! :D

BC564 10-01-2014 02:30 PM

this is quite exciting.

I should have mentioned acidosis (CO2) - probably the biggest concern. The ammonia and pH problems really just being a result of the acidosis.

That would be awesome! Im going to see if i can get my kids packed up and out the door with my sanity intact to swing by.

mrhasan 10-01-2014 10:17 PM

So who bought what?

I took home:

1. A freakishly deep blue goniopora
2. A blue acropora caroliniana
3. Am acropora desalwii

Ulmo 10-02-2014 12:58 AM

Well how'd it go today? I really wanted to come down at least to check it out but work sent me away. I would have liked to get a Ctenochaetus strigosus but I'm not ready to deal with a new fish until after Oct 20

michika 10-02-2014 01:14 AM

I would definitely participate in something like this should you run it again. Didnčt see this post early enough to get down there today.

BC564 10-02-2014 01:38 AM

I took home

1. blonde naso
2. Powder blue

reefcanada 10-02-2014 02:28 AM

3 powder blue tangs
1 chocolate tang
1 mata tang

All three powder blues doing great.

hillegom 10-02-2014 02:49 AM

I hope someone in the lower mainland will do this
What a concept!

reefwars 10-02-2014 02:52 AM

This was just a quick tester to see the interest , we will expand on this a bit and do another in the near future I'm sure :)

Thanks all hope everyone got a good deal:)

Cheers

lpsreefer 10-02-2014 07:00 AM

cbrine 10-02-2014 07:09 AM

Such a wicked idea!
Picked up 2 oh so cute bicolour (black/white) Chromis that Ive been waiting on for well over a year!
Couldn't be happier!!
Both little guys are happy happy swimming around in their QT

BMW Rider 10-02-2014 01:45 PM

I didn't think I'd have time to get in there for this deal, but discovered I needed to pick up a fresh cylinder of MIG gas putting me close by at the right time.

Came home with a nice Exquisite wrasse.

ponokareefer 10-02-2014 10:57 PM

I really wonder if this would actually be better for anemones to never hit the stores tank, and then switch to a customers tank in a short period of time.

Anyways, great idea! When I get my new system cycled, I'll have to look for the next order.

Kevotron 10-09-2014 05:09 AM

for once i wish i lived in Calgary :(

jazzywashbuckler 10-09-2014 07:54 AM

Damn my tanks not setup yet
