What blue sps is this
Hey guys I just got a new colony of this blue sps. Can someone give me a name for it? Also bought a decent size live rock but didn't want critters so I soaked it in fresh water n left it out in the sun to dry. Should I just toss it into my tank now? Or leave it in some of my tank water in a bucket for a day or so?

Should be no problem. Digi's are pretty easy. I would dip it first though.

Its purdy for sure.

From putting the rock in fresh and setting it in the sun you are going to have some die off,it depends how big the rock is.
|
Personally I don't put any dead objects in my tank.

Your dry rock will need curing.
Depending on the size of the rock and your systems water volume you might be ok to place it directly in the display or best into your sump for 10 days then in the display. if your system is small to the rock size I would do a full curing in a bucket for 2 weeks. |
The rock is about 5lbs. It's now in my sump I guess I'll keep it there for another week
