Zoanthids---what's the most you've paid for a polyp(s)
 

Curious as to What's the most expensive zoanthid you've bought ?

Any other die hards out there like me lol

in other words... who's cried the hardest when their polyp or colony melted away suddenly (without reason) one day?

Well if you break it down then......Technically yes lol

My highest is $250 , several others fall right behind between $125-$200


Those are all one polyp frags lol

My average i pay overall I would guess is between $20-$60 a polyp

Where are you getting these designer (awesome) zoas from? Any place I could go online and see some pics? Pm if ya wanna keep it private. Thanx reefwars.

To be honest there is no set place , every place has one here , two there lol from other collectors is the best route to go and it takes time to acquire a good collection(years)

Not much. i paid a decent amount for some sunny d's last year when they weren't so common, but some I have are starting to do well so thinking of getting my toes wet again.

Many years ago I paid $75 for a colony of Rastas. Maybe 50+ polyps. I used to sell frags for 15-25 and felt a little bad for charging so much. The colony has long since melted and I have nothing left but memories..

Probably about $75-100, I can't remember exactly. But whatever it was it's long gone since then :(

$150 for me so far. Notice I said so far:sad:

Yeah those fish store wages are great lol

Its been pretty much a week now .... so pictures or it didn't happen

I hadn't realized they shortened the weeks down to one day lol

A normal 7 day week is what I was shooting for :mrgreen:

I'm guessing it's like an addiction, kind of like not showing your drug stash to people you rarely know.

Also to not let the unknown significant other know how much you actually paid for your corals.

An emperor paly is priced at around $400pp. There's some other hardcore ones too.
