My baby bubbletip does the exact same thing when it gets ****ed off. It's always back to normal after a while.

Just looks ****ed. The Wrasse....if u been shoving ur hand into the tank Wrasses will sometimes burrow into sand to hide for a while

pinkreef 03-19-2014 03:57 PM

looks good to me but I don't have a condy, only btas

tlhood 03-19-2014 06:41 PM

I have a BTA and it did this every night after lights out for about 2 weeks, apparently replacing the H2O in it and getting rid of waste. It still does it occasionally. Not sure about a Condy.

Did the lights just come on? Did you just feed it? Are you missing a fish?

pinkreef 03-26-2014 03:16 PM

that looks ok too. nems do a lot of different things. sometimes they look like sticky buns to me. they need to be allowed to do their thing undisturbed by humans:smile:

No missing fish, the lights were on already, I actually witness it pulling the tentacles in. I didn't feed it yet.

I have had mine for around 7 months and it deflates now and again, almost looks dead but then inflates itself and is fine,I feed it a nice chunk of krill once a week.Hope yours recovers.

tlhood 04-07-2014 02:55 PM

I would never cut mine in half. I would rather let it get big, or split itself. For some reason in my mind splitting an anemone with a blade is like cutting my dog in half to make two.

I'll take more phone pics of the recovery. It's was a impulsive decision, when I took him out of the gas to relocate.
