Reef Meet Calgary (March 1) Wings!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok I will make it official! We need to do wing’s and this is a general invitation to Calgary reefers.
Maybe this time we can get one of the local reef stores to show up and do some promotional give away. When: March 1 Where: Mugshots (Corner of Ogden Road and Blackfoot Trail S.E) Who: I hope someone shows up and talks to me. Time will be at 1:00PM |

Minhas Micro Brewery 1314 - 44 Ave NE Calgary, AB T2E 6L6 Across the street from Concept. Talked to Concept yesterday about doing some door prizes. They are on board! I am waiting to find out what they want to do. Will let you know what is up for grabs. I think equipment and corals!!! The location changed due to my two favorite F words. Free Food! Dave also agreed to pay the cost of pizza. |

Im new to reefing but would love to join in if thats possible?

Door Prizes
I talked to Dave over at Concept and he has given me three different door prizes.
First is a WP 25 power head. Second is a WP 40 power head. Third is a Smart ATO from AutoAqua. Tickets will be handed at the door. Prizes
Denny (at Concept) has offered up a coral package for the reef meet. In order to enter this one you must buy something over at Concept. This runs all day.
Package consist of LPS and Zoas, I think that Denny is letting the winner have a choice on the corals. Any purchases made on Saturday enter you for this draw. The winner will be contacted on Sunday. Thanks Denny |

Prizes
Meeting at one.
Planned on doing the draw at 2 for the prizes. There are a few guys that have stated they want to come but would be late so I figure that we can delay and chat about reefing. Once again this is for everyone that would like to attend. |

Just wanted to say thanks to the people who came out, was great meeting everyone. I must admit I think the weather took a toll on the turnout.
Big ++ to Dave over at Concept Aquariums for buying a massive spread of food, you're going to be eating pizzas till next week! Another big thanks to Dave and Eli at Fijireefrock for donating the door prizes, I think pretty much everyone got something. Was meaning to swing over right afterwards but lost track of time and had to dart off, will have to come by sometime this weekend. |
