WP10 x 2 or WP25?
 

Trying to decide on which set of powerheads is best for my tank. Should I go with 2 WP10s or 1 WP25 for circulation of a 54g corner tank? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think its more a personal preference. I personally love my mp10s and wouldnt go any other way.

If it was me I'd go 2 wp25, one on wave mode other on random mode

+1 I run 2 wp-25's on my 90.

I have 90 gallons and am using 2 WP25.....it's more than enough.

2 wp25 for upgrade time lol, i run 2 on my 80 gal and want to get another pump

Not planning on upgrading any time soon. I actually downgraded to this tank. I live in a 2nd floor condo and don't want anything bigger while I live here. 54g Corner tank is what I will have for the foreseeable future. 2 WP25 seems overkill for just a 54g quarter circle tank.

1 is all you need plus your return.

I thought it might be better to go with 2 wp10s as the tank is a strange shape and thought 1 wp25 might not get the flow everywhere with the rock work and what not blocking part of the tank. Never had one hence the question.

Do not under estimate the power of 1 WP25 jebao.On my 90 gallons,my WP25 is at the minimum power only and I do believe it can be use up to 180 gallon tank (6ft.) set-up.

really i run 2 wp25 (one at max w1 and 1 at max random mode) and don't think its enough flow lol was thinking about getting another one or a mp10 to have less equipment in the tank but then again i had 2 mp40wes in the 80 (3'X2'x22")

Read the specs of Jebao WP25 and compare it with Vortech WP10,lol.

I went with 2 wp10s. Combined they put out the same as a wp25 but I can aim them in different directions. Now I just need to wait for them to come in.

already know the specs as i've had both, just like that they are only an inch in the tank thats why I may go with a mp10 to suppliment more flow with the wp25. i have the wp25s in the custom made waveboxes in the tank so there is no equipment in the main display just rocks and corals just want to keep the clean look.

good choice either way and if i had i choice b/w 1 bigger pump and 2 smaller pumps i would always go with 2 for more random flow

I would also go with the 2 x wp10.

Since there is no such model as WP10 so they must be talking about Vortech MP10.

Actually they just made the WP-10. U can order it on fish street for pretty cheap
