Fish Street

Does anyone have experience to online order at fish-street.com.
They are in Hong Kong. They seems to be very affordable price even pay shipping fee. I'm interested in purchase at least DC Pump. If you ordered before please share your experience. Thanks

I have heard of that site before but i have heard that if there is anything wrong they won't warranty anything or help with lost of damaged product cause they are over sea

Have you tried www.reefsupplycanada.com they have the DC pumps in same as that site and you have the trust of ordering from a company in canada

Yes, I have sent email to reef supply 2 or 3 days ago but haven't got any respond yet. My return pump has problem, so I like to get before too late. I spent a little bit money for Xmas, so my budget is tight.

I prefer Jebao DC 9000 but 12000 is OK.

Yap. 3 times till now (the 3rd one is on its way actually). They are good (and pretty big too). Just make sure that you buy 110v item instead of 220v. And they ship fast with tracking and takes around 10 days (may change with location though). But if I find something locally for a bit more money, I would go for it just for convenience.

To my knowledge, fish-street.com is located in China not Hong Kong.

Nothing yet. The only problem I found is their shipping charge is pretty steep but its faster than USPS sending something to Canada.

I checked my shipping fee to North America. It's under $50 in our money. I probably will try this guy. Thanks for your info.

Yah the shipping is between $30 to $50. They have few products right now which they are shipping for free (christmas offer). Their dosing pump (heard that its similar to marine magic) was on the offer and I needed one so ordered it :)

Oh, for 3% discount, put in "fishstreet" in their coupon box ;)

Seriak 12-19-2013 11:29 PM

I just received a jebao 6000 from them last week. The shipping took 3 days . The charge was 43.00 and I was charged 13.25 upon delivery.

Ron99 12-19-2013 11:40 PM

I ordered from them several years ago and they were pretty good. Provided good service and took care of an impeller issue with the skimmer pump too.

mseepman 12-19-2013 11:58 PM

I think you can get these pumps from one of our Vendors on here and the pricing after shipping is pretty similar. Try Nick at ReefSupplyCanada.com I got a DC9000 from him and it's nice not to have to deal with shipping and duty being an unknown.

BuschWacker 12-20-2013 12:09 AM

I ordered a wp25 from them a couple weeks ago when everyone else was back ordered. Took a while for my funds to clear through paypal. But with shipping, it was either on par or cheaper than most locals. Hoping it shows up before Christmas. Got tracking number, but right now it's in limbo somewhere waiting to reach a Canadian port.

nrosdal 12-20-2013 01:14 AM

They are good to deal with and at times have stock when the rest of us don't. Customs can be a pain sometimes with anything from overseas but as a company they are good.

htfn- i pmed you about your email.

Thanks

DC9000 is perfect for me but 12000 is OK. I can turn flow rate down. How do you like your 9000 pump?

I've used them a few times.first time i got the wave box and the controller didn't work.they sent me a new one within the week.I've also got the wp40,wp25,auto top ups and a few other things.the shipping is reasonable and fast, with no extra charges.I'll be getting the wp10 for my next build and have been thinking about their calcium reactor

htfn 12-20-2013 10:53 PM

Looks like everyone has got a good experience with them. Thanks for your sharing everyone.

I like it. It was a little noisy at first but it's quieted down. I find these pumps are a little noisier when you dial them down hard. It could also be that I've got it plumbed to a hardline pipe that is only 3/4". (when i redo it, then things will probably get better).

htfn 12-21-2013 02:55 AM

I also like their power consumption. It's 50% saving if I use these pump. Here is BC's hydro will go up 9% on April 2014 and end up 25% up in the next 5 years. Hopefully I can cut a little bit hydro bill down.
