Hey everyone, I'm tony
I've been out of the hobby for about 4 years.
But I just bought a new house and I'm going to
Put in a 6 x 3 x 3 salt water tank. And thought it
Would be a good idea to sign up if I need help
Down the road...
Just thought I would say hi

Welcome! New builds are always exciting. Have you considered going 8 foot long if you have the room?

8 feet was the plain but I have a support pillar there so 6 is max
It's going to be built in....
I move in at the end of Feb, then there a lot of work to get the space ready
Move the furnace, electrical panel, switch the hot water tank to on demand, and finish the dry wall etc,
Think I'm going to build the tank myself out of acrylic , I'm a ex welder so I'll build the stand, think I might buy the sump.

Welcome aboard! Good luck and have fun in the construction phase. Remember to start a journal thread :)

There are no such thing as ex-welders. Once you get paid to burn iron, you'll always be neck down.

I still do it part time, I run a friends extra truck when I want a little cash
But my oil job pays the same n is more steady
And I'm not keen on breathing in that much smoke 24/7

The trades that work in the patch don't hurt for income so don't feel too bad for him ;)

With just emptying my back account for the house, and the wife wanting new stuff, finishing the garage n mechanical room, and the list of changes the wife has for the house, it will be awhile before water is pumping...
That and I'm addicted to hunting sheep, and if anyone know about that, it makes this hobby look cheep

Yes, I do know that... Especially if you're looking for a grand slam. Going after your Marco Polo will cost you a kidney!

DUDE, we have to talk. My friend, Jason, guided this one two weeks ago after being up here chasing whitetails with me. This was an 80 K hunt.

My daughter wants to get her N.A. Grand Slam before she is 16 and them Desert Sheep ain't cheap.

wow! what a desert ram!
with that 1 pic, im guessing its close to grossing 190"
he looks like a old timer, very hard to count rings but over 10?

the grand slam is on the list, but it will be a long way down the road...

wish the BC hunter host program was more like AB's and i could get a shot at hunting them there living here,
I helped the 2012 BC boys get there rams in AB ...
